The company was founded by Wharton MBA’s, who while at Business School provided their fellow students with powerful interview preparation tools for banking, consulting and marketing. All the knowledge and experience of the recruiting process and the particular subject areas was distilled into a practical and easy to use format.
The following people have helped develop the Jobjuice concept:
JEAN PARK – Before Wharton, Jean spent the majority of five years in the investment banking arm at J.P. Morgan. Between years at Wharton, Jean was a summer associate at McKinsey & Co. on a distribution strategy project for an industrial packaged gas producer. In her spare time, Jean enjoys traveling, volunteering, the Simpsons, and opera. She now works for McKinsey in San Francisco.
ANDREW SOMOSI is a finance major MBA from the Wharton School. Prior to attending Wharton, he worked at McKinsey & Co. for 3 years in Europe. He completed a summer internship in investment bankng with Goldman Sachs and is currently working for McKinsey in New York. Andrew received a BA in political economy from Columbia University.
ERIK EASTMAN – Prior to Wharton, Eric worked at J.P. Morgan for five years before leading a merger management team within Chase Manhattan Bank. Eric worked as a summer associate with A.T. Kearney in Chicago and is now at Mercer Management Consulting in the Bay Area. Eric likes to travel, play hockey, scuba dive and volunteer in the community.
KARL LORIEGA – Karl majored in Entreprenurship and Strategy at the Wharton School. During the summer, he was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. Before Wharton, Karl worked in TV and later in high tech consulting in Silicon Valley. Karl graduated with honors in Philosophy from Yale University. He enjoys art and physics.
FRANCESCA MANGINI- Francesca has a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Stephen’s College. She has taught business English to executives in Brazil and worked in Missouri, Dallas Texas and Lima, Peru. With over eight years of international experience and training in alternative teaching methods and flashcard learning systems, Francesca has played a key role in the company’s international expansion and in further developing the Jobjuice system.
RODRIGO PALMA – Before starting the MBA program at Wharton, Rodrigo managed a steel construction company and founded two companies in the telecommunications and graphic design/publishing industries. Rodrigo holds a BA in Economics from Cambridge University and an MA in International Relations at the London School of Economics. He likes to travel and learn new languages.
MARCO ANTONIO GREGORI – Prior to Wharton , Marco worked as a consultant for Deloitte and Touche in Brazil. He then headed up a Life Sciences company specializing in high tech products, also in Brazil. Marco holds a degree in computer engineering from the ITA (Technological Institute of Aeronautics) Marco has since set on the entrepreneurial path, building up a food and beverages company and an e-commerce venture. Marco enjoys travel and literature.
ANDREW COHEN – Before coming to Wharton, Andrew spent three years at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter working on a variety of types of transactions, including mergers and acquisition, principal investment and corporate financing and advisory assignments. During his summer at Goldman Sachs, he specialized in merger and acquisition transactions within the technology, food and beverage and industrial equipment sectors.
